Golf lessons for beginners

 

Have you ever thought about playing golf? We offer an attractive and easy way to become acquainted with this sport. We have prepared beginner's lessons where you can take an examination, play a game on the practice field and obtain the permit to play and become a member of Golf Club Bled.
Everything from your first swing to unforgettable hours in the wonderful surroundings of the Golf Course Bled.

1st day Introductory part on the practice field 2 academic hours
2nd day Practical part - long swings 4 academic hours
3rd day Practical part - short swings 3 academic hours
4th day Practical part – swings from obstacles 4 academic hours
5th day Practical part – course play 3 academic hours
6th day Theory 4 academic hours

 

The set of golf lessons includes:

• 4 academic hours of theoretical training - golf rules and etiquette,

• 16 academic hours of practical work with a golf pro,

• golf clubs rental,

• golf balls for the practice field,

• fees and one-year membership at the Golf & Country Club Bled,

• trial game at the Jezersko golf course: 2 x entrance cards for 9 holes.

The golf lessons are implemented in groups of a maximum of 4 persons. The lesson schedule can be adapted for future golf enthusiasts.  

Implementation of the lessons:
The set of golf lessons lasts 20 academic hours and also includes the theoretical part. The theoretical part of the lessons including the exams is included in the price.
Participants will take two exams. The theoretical part of the exam is carried out by a licensed golf judge at the Golf Course Bled and the practical exam by a golf pro.
Once both exams have been concluded, the results will be sent to the Golf Association of Slovenia who will enter all participants successfully passing the exams in the beginners’ database. Based on your entry, you can fill in a form for registration at the Golf & Country Club Bled and obtain a membership badge.

Equipment: elegant sport pants (no jogging pants or jeans), polo shirt, sport footwear.
And of course, enthusiasm!

Short set of lessons

 

The golf lessons include:

• 8 academic hours of mandatory practical work with a golf pro,

• 4 academic hours of theoretical training - golf rules and etiquette,

• one-year free membership at a Slovenian golf club.

Price: EUR 99 per person.

Golf team building

Putting tournament

 

Programme:
-     welcome and short introduction to golf theory,

• explanation of basic golf terminology: tee, chipping, putting, etc.,

• golf club and golf balls,

• mini putting tournament,

• late lunch and ceremonious presentation of awards at the King’s Club House.

Duration: approximately 3 hours.
Price: EUR 30 per person (VAT not included).
Minimum number of participants: 10 persons.

Don’t forget your sports attire and a good mood!

 

Demo for beginners

 

Programme:

• welcome and short introduction to golf theory,

• lecture on the rules of golf by a licensed golf instructor,

• explanation of basic golf terminology: tee, chipping, etc.,

• putting,

• golf club and golf balls,

• opportunity to practice your swings on the practice field,

• 3-6 hole mini tournament (Texas Scramble) in groups of 3-4 (Flight),

• awarding of prizes.

Duration: approximately 4 hours.
Price: EUR 50 per person (VAT not included).

Supplement to the programme:
• refreshment at the King's Club House,
• ceremonious presentation of awards at the King’s Club House.

Coaches

 

Daniel Kraljič
Daniel's played golf since 1973 and is a many-time national amateur champion. Since 1988, he's been very successful as both competitor and coach. He practises in the UK, Italy and the USA, and spent three years working as a golf coach in Germany. He's a member of the British, Austrian and Slovenian PGAs. Daniel's a successful competitor and has topped a number of Slovene Orders of Merit. His greatest success came in 1996 when he won the Slovenian Open.

 

 

 

Dušan Jurman
Dušan first got involved in golf in 1975, and started coaching professionally in 1985. He was the Slovenian Professional Golf Association's first President and is also a member of the British PGA.

 

 

 

 

 

Maja Božič
Has topped a number of women's amateur league tables. She's been national champion twice and also a member of a number of winning teams in the Slovenian golf league. Maja started coaching golf professionally in 2000 and is the only female coach in Slovenia.
